The world seems so overwhelmed with hatred today—Much about skin color and religion. I wonder where all the LOVE has gone? The bible says, "Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4:8)
So as this Passover and Easter approach please set aside some time for sober reflection. Please reflect on the courage of our savior, Jesus Christ. I love this verse in the book of Hebrews, “For it was fitting that He, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.” (Heb 2:10)
Each of us having tasted of “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,” will be eternally thankful for the work of our savior, Jesus Christ, when He nailed each of our evil lessons to that cross outside Jerusalem many years ago.
Most of us have experienced suffering in life that has caused us to wonder why a Good God allows suffering—especially when it affects good people. Well, if we consider the 'bigger picture', maybe we can begin to understand.
