GOD IS YOUR FATHER

How comforting to know that God is our Father. We all have a human father, some good, some not so good. But regardless, we all have the same wonderful, loving, almighty, heavenly Father!

IT’S NO SECRET

Who knows the creation the best?—The Creator, of course! Jesus says, "My yoke is easy, and My burden is light." We just need to follow Him.

FOCUS ON THE BEST

So—here is advice for future parents and those who still have children living at home—focus on the best things. I have some “best things” in mind. I would have more family meals with everyone required to be present, more regular attendance to church every week, more time talking about the bible, and more time praying together.

CAN WE TALK? … GOD

I urge you to open one of the books written by a prophet and pay special attention to the words that come directly from God our Father. Here is what I have found—that He loves us unconditionally, His commandments are for our eternal good, He is a jealous God, He knows all, He is just, and that the cross of Jesus is our only hope to spend eternity with Him. Thank you, Jesus!

PASSION WEEK

How am I so sure that this is true? Because Jesus rose from the grave on the third day following His slaughter—proving that He truly is God in the flesh. Jesus’ blood is the only way to get to heaven. He loves each one of us and wants us to place our faith in Him.

REFLECTING ON EASTER

So as this Passover and Easter approach please set aside some time for sober reflection. Please reflect on the courage of our savior, Jesus Christ. I love this verse in the book of Hebrews, “For it was fitting that He, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.” (Heb 2:10)

THE COMMON SENSE OF THE BIBLE

So our challenge today is this—let’s take an honest look at ourselves and evaluate if we are living by Paul’s simple advice: “For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.”
